A true interdisciplinary artist with dazzling piano technique and an effortlessly rich baritone voice, Nathan is beginning to build a robust community of collaborators and fans alike across New York City. Originally from Nashville, Nathan developed a deep passion for music and performing at an early age; playing Blues, Gospel, & Pop/Rock piano at church and school. He has since spent time with master musicians such as Dave Frank (Berklee Prof. & former pupil of Lennie Tristano), Grammy-nominated vibraphonist Jon Metzger, and the legendary pianist and organist, Mike LeDonne, with whom he currently studies.

Nathan is quickly rising within the New York jazz community as “one of the most uniquely versatile artists” of his generation, and is building a strong reputation as both a solo pianist and a bandleader at some of the hippest spots in Manhattan. He also teaches piano and voice privately both online and from his studio in Queens.
